Payment Terms

The agreed Purchase Price and appr opriate shipping costs can be paid by Bank transfer, Cheque Paypal etc. Cheques must be allowed to clear before goods are sent. Goods are sent by insured overnight carrier.
 
Shipping Information

Shipping costs to UK addresses start at £10 per parcel (less for very small items sent via Royal Mail) and increase for larger items. Shipping costs will be agreed with the buyer in advance of purchase and include insurance, handling and packaging costs

We only use reliable, trackable courier services such as UPS with delivery usually being made the day following despatch.

The goods should be examined by the customer or an authorised individual immediately after delivery to detect any transportation damages. The customer must advise of any damage in transit within 5 working days of delivery in order for any claim for compensation to be valid. We pride ourselves on the quality of our packaging and, as a result, damage in transit is EXTREMELY unlikely

 
Overseas Shipping

Orders for delivery to overseas addresses are shipped at cost. The customer must contact Hi-Fi House for a shipping price BEFORE purchasing.

We only use reliable, trackable courier services such as UPS (via airfreight) and, depending on the country being shipped to (and customs clearance for shipments outside of the EU), delivery normally takes between 3-7 working days from the date of despatch.

Duty and taxes may be raised on shipments sent outside the EU. It is the buyers responsibility to pay any such charges.

 
Delivery Times

UK Delivery – we aim to ship items within 48 hours of purchase ( maybe slightly longer for large items requiring significant amounts of packaging) and delivery normally takes place the day following the day of despatch.
Overseas Delivery – we aim to ship within 48 hours of purchase ( maybe slightly longer for large items requiring significant amounts of packaging) and delivery normally takes place between 3-7 working days (depending destination and any customs clearance) following the day of despatch.
 
Returns

Goods should be returned to Hi-Fi House with their original packaging and should be boxed and sealed as when sent . Hi-Fi House will not be held responsible for any damages incurred in returning goods to us. The condition of the goods is the customer's responsibility until goods have been booked in, assessed and checked by Hi-Fi House.

All returns must be protected properly for shipping and necessary precautions should be made (such as bubble wrap and strong packaging).

If goods that you are receiving appear to have significant external damage to the packaging the customer should refuse delivery and contact Hi-Fi House.

If you do agree to delivery of goods and, on further examination, they are damaged customers should contact Hi-Fi House.

If it appears that you are missing goods, please contact Hi-Fi House. We advise that you check the dispatch note documentation thoroughly as your delivery may only include a part shipment of your order.

 
7 Day Returns Policy

Goods may be returned in the original packaging to Hi-Fi House for a full refund (certain items may be excluded) within 7 days of receipt.

All items are inspected upon receipt at Hi-Fi House. If returning items under the 7 Day Returns Policy it is the customers responsibility to pay for the return shipping cost.

The customer has a statutory duty to take reasonable care of any goods while in their possession if they wish to return them for refund. Goods returned for a refund must be in a acceptable condition. Items must be returned with their original intact packaging with (where supplied) all manuals, original documents, accessories, registration card and any free gifts intact. If it is decided that the customer has not taken reasonable care of the manufactured goods while in their possession then appropriate recompense will be pursued.

 
Faulty Goods

If you believe your item is faulty please, in the first instance, refer to the user manual (where supplied) to check the functionality of the product. The suspected fault may be part of the usual process of the product of which you were previously unaware.

If the fault is due to unsuitable handling or unsuitable packaging or shipment by the customer, or a third party on behalf of the customer, the use of inappropriate accessories or an alteration of the original components by the customer or a third party then this fault will not be covered by a warranty.

 
Goods With A Fault Within 28 Days

Items developing a fault within 28 days of receipt will be eligible for replacement or repair free of charge. If your item is faulty then please contact Hi-Fi House

Once the fault is confirmed then (at the sole discretion of Hi-Fi House) either a replacement item will be sent or the original item will be repaired and returned to the customer. If an item is not in stock then a replacement will be sent as soon as possible. If the fault cannot be reproduced we will contact you to discuss this and send the item back to you.

 
Goods With A Fault After 28 Days Within The 12 Month Warranty

New Items (i.e. brand new items with a 12 month warranty) developing a fault after 28 days of receipt will be eligible for repair or replacement depending on the manufacturer's policy. If your item is faulty then please contact Hi-Fi House.

Once the fault is confirmed the item will be sent back to the manufacturer for evaluation

• If the manufacturer opts to repair the goods then we will return the repaired goods to you
• If the manufacturer opts to replace the goods then we will return a replacement to you
• If the fault cannot be reproduced we will contact you to discuss this and send the item back to you

 
Goods Developing A Fault After The 12 Month Warranty Period

New goods developing a fault after 12 month warranty period are not eligible to be sent back to Hi-Fi House. We will however, upon request, offer every help and advice regarding repairs.
